LET ME CAUTION YOU ABOUT WRITING A WILL BY YOURSELF

Let me caution you about making up your will or an estate plan by yourself.

You are making an estate plan to accomplish certain financial goals in your family’s future.

It is easy to find out how to do the quickie/cheapie, maybe even free, wills or estate plan.

The problem is that you will NOT get all the documents or all the clauses in those documents that you need.

Not knowing the laws of estate planning, you will not know all the papers to prepare or all the clauses to put in them.

Miss one paper or miss one clause, you have lost that plan that you wanted for your family’s future.

when some adverse party tries to upset and defeat your estate plan, there will be a lawyer like me on the other side who does know what paper is missing or what clause is missing from a paper. He will know about that defect or omission.
